Q: What are the recurring costs associated with cloud-based access control and security camera systems?
Answer: The recurring costs is based on your specific needs from the system. It is priced per camera per month. This is often billed Quarterly. Learn more about our security camera solutions.
Q: How often should I schedule maintenance for a cloud-based security system to ensure optimal performance?
Answer: NT Security is constantly monitoring the health of your cloud based system. We see when your camera goes offline, when systems need updating, and other mission-critical events. Q: How secure is cloud storage for surveillance footage? What measures protect against hacking or data breaches?
Answer: Advanced cloud-based video management systems do not have the cyber-security vulnerabilities of traditional systems. There are no open ports, no on-site firewalls, and no on-premise software. Cloud based video surveillence systems encrypt the footage as soon as its recorded. The only way the footage is if an authorized user on the account logs in to view the footage. Security threats are constantly being monitored and patches are released and updated autmatically when needed.
Q: How long can I store video footage on the cloud, and is it easy to retrieve footage for legal or investigative purposes?
Answer: Eagle Eye Networks offers multiple storage options when storing footage in the cloud. It can be as little as 15 days and as much as 5 years. It is up to the users preference. NT Security will work directly with law inforcement to help retrieve the footage they need. We also offer them a temporary account to log into the system remotely to download whatever footage they may need.
Q: How much recording time will my DVR get?
Answer: This depends on the size of your hard drive, the amount of cameras you have, the format, compression, and frame rate. On average most systems have 3 – 4 weeks of recorded video to view from, however this can be expanded to months with larger hard drives.
Q: Can I control and monitor my security system remotely through mobile devices or a web platform?
Answer: Absolutely. A major benefit of a cloud based video surveillance system is the accesablilty. You can log in to the app or website to view the live or recorded footage remotely from anywhere in the world.
Q: What kind of technical support or troubleshooting assistance do you offer for Brivo and Eagle Eye systems?
Answer: NT Security will help you remotely troubleshoot your system. If our remote options have been exausted, we will set up a time to visit your site to complete advanced trouble shooting. Some issues require advanced tools that require us to call Eagle Eye or Brivo tech support. Together we will solve any issues you may encounter with your system.
Q: Unable to view your cameras online anymore?
Answer: A very common occurrence today is people frequently change their home and business routers and Internet service providers. The systems we install require ports to be open for remote access and management.
